I've been lucky to live and travel extensively across the US, and each time I am genuinely surprised at the heightened level of service I see outside of Vermont. Even in NYC and Boston, the service industry just seems more attentive, friendly and competent than the average experience in the green mountain state. Maybe it’s because everyone would rather be playing outside….

VT National is a shining exception. Chris Barron and his team (including the effusive, always composed and accommodating, Emily Dresser) are patient, genuine, professional and experienced. They are quick with a smile, willing to fulfill any guest’s need (within reason), and take to heart the spirit of “the customer is always right” – even when they clearly are not. This spans the gamut of events they produce, which is a tall task to accomplish. Any prestigious resort in the country would be lucky to have a VNCC alumnus on their team.

Whether it was executing my wedding to perfection, ensuring each participant at The Bear member guest felt like they were Jack Nicklaus himself, or tending to simpler business meetings and birthday parties I have hosted there – I can always count on the team at VNCC to produce a stress free and exceptional experience. I had a summer wedding at VNCC for 225 people. My husband and I wanted our wedding to be in Burlington but were having trouble finding a location that no only could fit our large wedding numbers but also provided a beautiful location. Once we found VNCC, we realized it had it all; the Vermont scenery, capacity for 225 people, amazing food, and such a refreshing want to work with us. I could not be happier with the ease, professionalism, and dedication to the staff. Even though we are not members, the club allowed us to have dinner at the club and to stop by whenever we needed to do so. For the wedding weekend, the club welcomed our out of town guests to play on their course as well. I cannot say enough wonderful things about having my wedding reception at VNCC and am so thankful that I found this location for our day!
