Vermont National Country Club Banquet Policies
Dress Code
All members and their guests are required to wear suitable attire in the Clubhouse. Appropriate attire for the dining room and bar is dress casual or golf attire during the day and dress casual in the evening. No tee shirts or clothing that is faded, torn, or with holes will be allowed. If your event has reserved the entire Clubhouse, the dress code is left to your discretion.
Pricing
All prices listed are the base price, without service charge and sales tax. An 11% tax for alcoholic beverages, a 10% tax for food and room rental, and a 22% taxable surcharge on food and beverage will be applied. Prices are guaranteed if planned within sixty (60) days prior to your event. All prices prior to sixty (60) days are subject to change without notice due to fluctuations in the market.
Final Counts and BEO Signoff
The final event count is due no later than (7) days prior to the event. The client is financially responsible for the final event count. If the actual event numbers exceed the guaranteed final count, the client is financially responsible for the additional guests. The banquet event order listing this final count, menu selection, event details and pricing information must be signed by both a VNCC authorized representative and the client/authorized event representative no later than (7) days prior to the event.
Menu Policy
Final menu selections are due 2 weeks prior to the event.
Payment Schedules
Social function payments: The initial non-refundable down payment is $1000.00 for Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Birthday Parties, Anniversary Parties, and Golf Tournaments. An additional down payment of $1000.00 will be due one month prior. Direct billing may be established with an accepted credit application.
Outside Food and Beverage Policy
No outside food or beverage will be permitted without the consent of the Executive Chef and the General Manager.
Cancellation Policy
Any event canceled fewer than ninety (90) days in advance will result in loss of deposit. Cancellations fewer than sixty(60) days in advance will result in loss of deposit and a 50% food charge will be assessed. Cancellations fewer than five (7) days in advance will result in loss of deposit, as well as 100% of food charges. Act of God cancellations will be assessed food costs, labor costs, and other associated costs.
Decorations
We ask that the delivery of plants/decorations be the day of the event and that you take them home with you after the event. Clean up of confetti or rice will incur a $150.00 clean up fee.
Parking, Coat Check, and Guest Shuttle
There is ample parking for your guests. Valet parking is available for a fee of $100.00. Coat Check is also available for a $75.00 fee. It is always recommended to have a prearranged shuttle service for your guests for large receptions.
Audio Visual
VNCC has access to all the audio/video devices you may need. We have a projector, DVD player, HDTV’s, 6x6 Screen and Flip Charts that may be used for a fee of up to $15 each.
Smoking Policy
VNCC is a smoke free facility. Smoking is permitted on the porch and at the entry of the Clubhouse.
Responsibility for Property of Members and Guests
VNCC is not responsible for property left by members and guests or entrusted to any employee.
Corporate Meeting Benefits
Corporate meetings include: Flip charts and markers, water service, and picturesque Adirondack views.
